Tapd charges a 5% service fee to the student and a 5% service fee to the coach on each booking. Browsing is free, and listing a coach profile is free. Both fees are shown before anything is confirmed.

Every coach applies with their belt rank, gym and affiliation, and we review each application before the profile goes live. Coaches must be blue belt or above. Our review is a reasonable check rather than a background check, so you should still satisfy yourself a coach suits you, particularly when booking for a child.

Cancel more than 24 hours before the session and you are refunded in full, including the service fee. Inside 24 hours the coach may keep the session fee, since that time was held for you. If the coach cancels, you are always refunded in full.
